In the Act of Receiving
I started noticing frequency in my life through the way my state would shift, especially when I was in nature. I didn’t fully understand it yet. I just knew that the second I stepped into it, something in me shifted. It felt like I entered whatever level nature was already on. My body would calm down, my mind would clear up, and it felt like I was holding the same kind of peace that everything around me already had. At the time, I didn’t understand why. It just felt natural. Later on, I started to realize that nature holds a very strong frequency. When you immerse yourself in it, you begin to match it. That’s why it feels so calming. It’s your body coming into alignment with a state that already exists. I also learned that nature vibrates very close to the same frequency as calmness and contentment. So when I stepped into it, I wasn’t creating that feeling. I was entering it.
From there, I began to notice how strongly I feel things in my body. When I feel an emotion, it’s not small. It feels like my whole body is vibrating on that level. When I’m in that state, everything I do comes from it. If I’m anxious, everything feels tight. If I’m calm, everything feels peaceful. If I’m happy, everything feels open. It’s a full shift in state, and that state changes how I experience the moment I’m in.
That’s what led me into learning how to shift it. I started noticing that certain things raise my frequency. Being creative. Singing. Playing music. Painting. Being in nature. Sitting with myself. These things change my state. When my state changes, my perception changes with it. I realized I could move myself out of certain emotional states and into others by what I chose to connect with.
Over time, I went deeper into my body. I realized that everything carries frequency. The way you use your body shifts the state you’re in. There are certain movements, sounds, and expressions that open you up to different levels of frequency. For me, one of those is what I understand as the language of the soul. Expression that doesn’t come from thinking, but from something deeper moving through me. It happens when I’m in a certain state. It took time to understand that, but the more I stayed with it, the more natural it became. I also began to understand how important certain emotions are. Trust is one of the biggest ones. Trust carries a very high frequency. So does love. They come from your heart space. When I’m in that space, I feel more open, more clear, and more connected. The more I trust, the more I feel that energy meet me where I am. The more I doubt, the more I feel myself pull away from it. It feels like a relationship with the energy around me.
The first time I realized I was connecting with something outside of my own thoughts was during a deep meditation. My body was still. My mind was at peace. I had reached a really clear state. And then I started receiving thoughts that didn’t feel like mine. I remember pausing and thinking, “That’s not something I would normally think right now.” It felt like I had shifted into a different state and something met me there. That was the moment I understood what channeling was. When I talk about connecting with spirit, that’s what I mean. It works through frequency. You shift your own state until you’re on the same wavelength as what you’re connecting to. When the frequency matches, you’re there with it. That’s what channeling is for me. Channeling starts when I begin tuning myself into that state. The process of shifting into that frequency is part of it, and the connection that happens once I’m there is part of it too.
When I go into that state, I bring my awareness into my body and my heart space. I let my energy shift instead of trying to control what’s happening. It feels like I’m tuning myself, like I’m moving out of my head and into a place where I can meet something on its level. When I reach that state, I can feel the difference in what comes through. It’s not coming from the same place my normal thoughts come from. I’ve also learned that I can call in what I want to connect with. If I want to connect with a certain energy or spirit, I set that intention and allow myself to shift into the frequency where that connection exists. The energy knows what to do. The more I trust it, the clearer it becomes. If I start overthinking or pulling myself out of that state, the connection weakens. So it becomes something I stay with. That’s how I experience being a channel. It happens when I allow myself to shift into alignment with something beyond my usual state.
This is also where my intuition became very clear. When I’m connected to that state, my intuition feels simple. It feels safe and true. It comes very quickly too. And I’ve noticed that when I ignore it, I feel it after. Almost every time, the first thing I knew was the right thing for me. But if I don’t trust it, I start thinking over it and questioning it. That’s where I lose clarity. Something I learned is if you are confused, the answer is no. Learning to trust my intuition changed everything. Trust is a state. When I stay in that state, things feel more aligned. I still have moments where I doubt. That’s part of being human. But underneath that, I know I can trust myself. And every time I choose to listen, that trust gets stronger.
This has changed how I move through my life. I know I can come back to myself when I need to. I know I can sit, shift my state, and reconnect. I know that guidance is there when I’m in the right space to receive it. It’s made me more confident. More grounded in who I am. I can walk into a space and leave with the same sense of self I walked in with. It’s also made me realize how much there is that we don’t understand. We think we know so much, but there’s so much more beyond what we can explain. And I think that’s part of being here. To learn. To experience. To understand ourselves more deeply. Not one person is above another. We’re all here, moving through our own experiences. We all got here the same way. And we’ll all leave the same way.
