Something Comes to Mind
I started this blog because I think a lot about life. About why things happen, about what we feel, about the way certain moments stick with you. Writing has always been the way I sort through those thoughts. It helps me slow down and understand what something meant to me instead of letting it pass by.
This is where I write about the things that keep coming back to me. The poetry that comes from the connections I notice and the thoughts that feel important enough to write about. The art that shows up intuitively when I’m creating and connecting with something deeper than just my thinking mind. The places I travel to and the way nature or a new environment can change my perspective. A lot of what I write about comes from paying attention to what’s around me and what’s happening inside my own mind.
My mind is always connecting things. A place, a conversation, something I felt while being in nature, or a thought that keeps circling back. Sometimes those connections turn into poetry. Sometimes they turn into art. Sometimes they turn into something I feel like I need to put into words.
I’m someone who feels deeply, thinks deeply, and creates deeply. Being near nature, making something with my hands, or sitting with a thought until it turns into something I create. Those experiences shape the way I see the world, and this blog is where I share them.
Something comes to mind, and this is where I share it.
